Kakani Adventure Camp opened its doors recently from April 2019. With the vision to become Nepal’s best fully facilitated adventure camp for outdoor learning and recreational activities. The Kakani Adventure Camp covers an impressive terrace area of about 87616 sq. ft. And, it is situated snugly inside a dense forest next to Shivapuri National Park in Singhedhara (Kakani), Nuwakot. The Adventure Camp is said to be first of its kind and surely is remarkably modern and unique when compared to other adventure camps in Nepal.

Features of Kakani Adventure Camp
Kakani Adventure Camp has a huge competitive advantage of having expansive greenery around the area. The fauna incorporates trees of Salla – pine, Apple, Kafal, and Chilaune. If you’re in the right season, the terrace will be filled with plump red strawberries and other seasonal fruits.The humongous dining hall is big enough to cater 50 people at once. The accommodation can be arranged for 30 people at a time. The extensive terrace land holds a number of tented camps spread sparingly. The five Safari tented camps have 4 beds each. The five deluxe tented camps have 2 beds each. The common washrooms are neat and cleaned regularly and also provide hot showers.
The Founders of Kakani Adventure Camp.
Four friends joined hands to venture out with Kakani Adventure Camp. Mr. Bishnu Bahadur Yonjan has almost 20 years of
adventure experience. Mr. Bashu Thapaliya an avid traveler, nature lover, successful
trekking company owner and Mountain Biker. Similarly, Mr. Yuvraj Rai has summited the Mt. Everest and is a high-altitude chef. Mr. Sanjib Ghalan is a young entrepreneur from Kakani Hill. All four of them are exceptional business entrepreneurs with years of experience and come from a common background of Nepal tourism. They have accumulated more than two decades worth of experience in trekking, climbing, hiking, and adventure sports in the Nepalese tourism sector.
They have fulfilled leadership roles in various walks of life, including that of national and international companies. They also have adequate experience working with international schools/colleges as an outdoor instructor for the students. All in all, they surpass in management skills that have led them to have successful ventures.
Establishment of Kakani Adventure Camp.
Kakani Adventure Camp could have been just an outdoor center; however, it goes to be a learning and recreation center. The features of Kakani Adventure Camp are unmatchable, especially with the fully facilitated tented camps and adventure activities that we offer. It’s a wonderful opportunity for youths in busy cities to get in touch with nature and learn about the intricacies of the environment. Adding to that, Kakani Adventure Camp is an establishment with a mission to help youths develop their teamwork skills, confidence, and teach them about perseverance.
Kakani Adventure Camp plans to become not only a center for skill and personality development for youth but a tourist hub at Kakani. Kakani Adventure Camp has the aim to promote both national and international tourism for adventure junkies. By using the local grown agro products and providing employment to locals of Kakani, Kakani Adventure Camp has vowed to improve the local’s living standard as well. Kakani Adventure Camp is also striving to become the top learning center to study the local fauna and flora available in Nepal.
